The USTA has presented a series of working options to players via an ATP conference call this week.
Newly appointed US Open Tournament Director Stacey Allaster presented three options to the online conference:
Prize money would be maintained at 95% of 2019 levels. The cancellation of Cincinnati would see a $2 million saving for the USTA.
All players and their permitted support staff would be housed at the TWA Hotel, near Terminal 5 at JFK Airport.
Each player would be allowed up to two support staff, providing they share a room at the designated hotel.
Players are now evaluating the options and are expected to inform the USTA of their preferred options within days.
A final decision on the event is expected by June 15.
