Turin final switched due to World Cup schedule clash

The title match for next month’s ATP Finals will be played in the evening of Sunday November 20 to avoid clashing with the opening match of the football World Cup in Qatar.

The ATP made the move for the end-of-season showpiece in northern Italy and advised that no refunds will be made to fans who can’t make the new time.

The final will now begin at 7 p.m. instead of the afternoon as planned. The World Cup will start with a match between Ecuador and host Qatar.
