Jannik Sinner reached his second semi-final in as many weeks on Friday as he tamed Stan Wawrinka 6-1. 6-3 at the ATP Rotterdam event.
The 21-year-old Italian who lifted the Montpellier trophy last weekend, is on track for a possible repeat after victory over the Swiss three-time Grand Slam winner in 71 minutes.
Sinner got the job done on his third match point after Wawrinka saved the first two but sent a return long over the baseline.
The Italian ended with 11 winners and 19 unforced errors while his opponent had a massive 29 miscues.
Victory was the sixth in a row for Sinner, who put out Rotterdam top seed Stefanos Tsitsipas in the second round.
Sinner won the opening set running away but lost a break in the second set, recovering it before finally advancing.
