Emma Raducanu has pulled out of the Monterrey WTA event next week and could miss out on the Indian Wells event next month.
Raducanu suffered an injury to her left leg during her defeat to Australian Daria Saville in Guadalajara on Tuesday.
Raducanu, 19, retired in the third set of a gruelling match that lasted over three hours.
She will now focus on getting for Indian Wells which begins on March 8.
If she does enter, she will not play her first match until March 11 or 12, receiving a first-round bye due to being a seeded entrant.
