Norrie beats Korda for Delray semi spot

Top seed Cameron Norrie reached the semi-finals of the Delray Beach Open on Friday after beating No. 5 seed Sebastian Korda 6-2, 1-6, 7-6 (4).

2021 finalist Korda won the first two points of the deciding tiebreaker, then lost six of the next seven points as Norrie took control.

Korda broke Norrie for a 5-4 lead in the third set, but Norrie broke back to level at 5-5 and eventually force the tie-breaker.

Korda then grabbed a 2-0 lead but Norrie took the next three points and four of the last five to claim the victory.

Norrie will face fourth-seeded Tommy Paul in the semi- finals. Paul eased past Stefan Kozlov 6-3, 6-1 in his match.

No. 2 seed Reilly Opelka beat Adrian Mannarino 7-6 (2), 3-6, 6-1. Opelka will face unseeded John Millman, who beat Grigor Dimitrov 6-4, 6-4.
