Nadal: I’m ready for Paris

Rafa Nadal has declared himself ready for the French Open by posting a picture of himself training at his academy in Mallorca with the caption: “See you on Wednesday, Paris.”

Nadal said last week that daily training was a challenge and he would take a doctor with him to Paris after his foot injury flared up again.

The 13-time Roland Garros winner recently returned from a stress fracture in one of his left ribs.

Against Canadian Denis Shapovalov in Rome he struggled again, with many wondering if would be forced to sit out his favourite Slam.
