Murray gets Paris wildcard invite

Andy Murray will play the Paris Masters for the first time since 2016 after receiving an invitation to enter the main draw.

The Masters 1000 begins on November 1, with qualifying matches from tomorrow.

Daniil Medvedev beat Alexander Zverev in the 2020 edition of the event and this year a star-studded line-up includes Novak Djokovic, Zverev, Stefanos Tsitsipas, Andrey Rublev, Matteo Berrettini, Cameron Norrie, Jannik Sinner and Gael Monfils.

Murray is the only non-French wildcard into the final Masters 1000 event of the season.
Richard Gasquet, Pierre-Hugues Herbert and Arthur Rinderknech are the other three recipients.
