Monfils will be missing at Wimbledon

The ATP No. 23 last  competed in Rome on May 3 when he lost to Novak Djokovic in the second round.

Monfils, whose tennis wide Elina Svitloina awaits the birth of the couple’s first child at home in Switzerland, ha been suffering with a painful foot injury/

The 35-year-old has played a dozen times at the All England Club with a fourth-round in 2018 his best career showing.

Popular Frenchman Gael Monfils is heading towards a third month out of the game after confirming that he would not be present at Wimbledon.
