A week after a first round loss to Haddad Maia in Birmingham, two time Wimbledon champion, Petra Kvitova, has turned her form around to take her first title of 2022, taking out Haddad Maia on the way.
The former world number two defeated the defending champion Jelena Ostapenko to claim the Rothesay International, without losing serve once.
The final score was 6-3, 6-2. Kvitova served at 98% first serve, and hit seven aces in the process.
Kvitova now has 29 career titles to her name, five of which have come on grass.
The Czech now faces Jasmine Paolini in the first round of Wimbledon.
