Injury-prone Alcaraz unsure for Queen’s

Carlos Alcaraz was undergoing medical tests on a dodgy wrist on Tuesday, with the Spaniard now considered a possible doubt for the Queen’s Club event next week in London.

The 20-year-old former No. 1 who lost comprehensively last week to Novak Djokovic in the French Open semi-finals cannot seem to stay healthy for any length of time.

Now, his handlers are worried that his pre-Wimbledon Queen’s debut might be scuppered.

Spanish media reported that the Alcaraz camp has no fears about their man being reach for Wimbledon next month – but anything before might be subject to the payer’s fitness.

Alcaraz is said to be suffering from “trauma” after falling on his wrists during the Djokovic match.

Alcaraz is developing an unwanted reputation as fragile after retiring hurt last November at the Paris Masters and missing the Australian Open through injury.
