French Open 2021: Women’s draw

World. no. 1 Ash Barty and defending French Open champion Iga Swiatek are on track for a semifinal clash in Paris after both were paired in the same half of the draw for the 2021 event yesterday.

They are joined in the top half by former French champions Garbine Muguruza and Jelena Ostapenko, 2020 finalist Sofia Kenin, Elina Svitolina and Karolina Pliskova – plus rising star Coco Gauff.

In the bottom half of the draw there is equal talent, with a powerhouse of tennis performance, including Naomi Osaka, Serena Williams, Bianca Andreescu, Petra Kvitova, Victoria Azarenka and Aryna Sabalenka.
