Stefanos Tsitsipas seems incapable of avoiding antagonisation. In his close comeback against Fabio Fognini, he was once again accused of receiving coaching during a match.

During the post match handshake Fognini couldn’t resist a few bitter words to Tsitsipas about supposed conversation from Apostolos Tsitsipas.

The match lasted 2 hours 2 minutes, and the final score was 2-6, 6-3, 6-4 for Tsitsipas, with the Greek mustering up a remarkable comeback after a shaky start.

This latest controversy comes off the back of similar accusations by Alexander Zverev and Andy Murray. Zverev knocked Murray out of the tournament on the same night and has the potential to meet Tsitsipas again, in the semifinal.

Tsitsipas next faces counter-punching Australian no.1 Alex de Minaur in the 4th round.
