Serena split from tennis bolstered by pregnancy reveal

Serena Williams has almost completed her metamorphosis from the court to the society catwalk by announcing she’s pregnant at New York’s Met Gala.

The former No. 1 who last competed at the US Open in September, picked the VIP event to drop the news that she is expecting again.

Williams, 41, was strutting it with the best of them on the VIP carpeted stairs, where outlandish costumes were the order of the night.

She is already the mother of Alexis, her daughter born in 2017; Williams returned to tennis in May, 2018.

But this time looks like the end of the road for Williams, who said months ago she is “evolving” away from tennis as she lives the show business life in Hollywood.

Williams said she and former internet entrepreneur Alexis Olhanian have decided to expand her family.

She posted a picture of herself with baby bump captioned: “so excited when Anna Wintour (Met organiser) invited the 3 of us to the Met Gala.”
