Andry Rublev has gained some personal satisfaction after his shock Dubai disqualification with his ranking points restored.

The world No. 5 was kicked out of the Dubai semi-final as he screamed in the face of a line judge after a massively disputed call which went against the tournament seed.

With the supervisor siding with the officials and giving Rublev a rare DQ, the player’s team quickly filed an appeal with the ATP.

After deliberation, the Tour ruled that Rublev’s fine of $36,400 for unsportsmanlike conduct will be taken from his prize money payout of $157,755. He will also receive the 200 ranking points he earned for reaching the semi-finals.
