Raducanu in doubt for Indian wells

Emma Raducanu may have to miss the Indian Wells classic, which starts this week due to an ongoing hip injury.

Raducanu suffered the injury two weeks ago during her opening round match against Australian Daria Saville at the Monterrey Open.

She has travelled to California and is believed to have been training well during her recovery.

The London Daily Mail reported on Monday she may be forced to withdraw from the event, rather than risk further injury.

Indian Wells gets underway tomorrow, while the Miami Open which Raducanu is also scheduled to play, begins on March 22.
