Novak Djokovic has maintained a huge lead in the latest ATP world rankings after his Madrid Masters victory, but Dominic Thiem and Stefanos Tsitsipas are moving up.
The Serb has 12,115 points to be ahead of Rafael Nadal (7945) and Roger Federer (5770).
Madrid semi-finalist Thiem climbs one spot into fourth, and beaten finalist Stefanos Tsitsipas moves from ninth to seventh.
In the women’s, Australia’s Ashleigh Barty remains at No.9, while Naomi Osaka spends another week on top of the WTA world rankings after Simona Halep’s loss in the Madrid Open final.
Osaka tops the list with 6356 points ahead of Romanian Halep who has 6117.
German Angelique Kerber is third while Kiki Bertens has risen from seventh to a career-high fourth after beating Halep on Saturday in the Madrid decider for her biggest career success.
