Brandon Naskishima won his 33rd ATP match of the season on Thursday to book a semi-final place at the NextGen Finals in Milan.
The American defeated Italy’s Franceso Passaro 4-3(4), 4-2, 4-1 to cap a perfect record in group play at the under-21 year-end event.
Advancing took 61 minutes; “I know he has had a great year this year. I thought my level was really high today,” the winner said.
“It was nice to see it carrying over from yesterday. To come out and play like that was super special.”
