Nadal on crutches after surgery

Rafa Nadal has posted pictures of himself on crutches after undergoing foot surgery that will keep him off her tour until next year.

“I was in Barcelona with my team and medical team to receive a treatment on my foot that will keep me a few days of rest and a few weeks off court. I’m back home now and in the process of recovery,” Nadal said.

The 35-year-old did not play between the French Open and the ATP 500 Washington event, before withdrawing from Toronto through injury.
