Murray worry as he pulls from Rotterdam

Andy Murray needs more time to catch his break after an exhausting Australian Open effort which got him to the third round in Melbourne.

So the No. 64 has decided to skip a planned entry at the ATP Rotterdam event from February 13 and delay his return to the Tour until Dubai at the end of February. The Scot has played the indoor event four times with his best a 2015 semi-final.

The three-time grand Slam winner was taken out in Melbourne by Roberto Bautista Agut and spent around 14 hours on court in a run which included a pair of five-set matches.

Murray pullout allows TD Richard Krajicek to stick another Dutchman into the home mix, with the addition of No 59 Tallon Griekspoor.

“We consider it a blessing in disguise,” 1996 Wimbledon winner Krajicek said.

“On the one hand, it is a pity that Andy Murray will not be present. On the other hand, I am glad that we can admit Tallon to the main draw. He is the man in form and I think he can show great things.”
