The hearing to determine Novak Djokovic’s right to defend his Australian Open Title at the Melbourne court was due to start at 10:00 local time (23:00 GMT), but there has been a slight delay  due to technical problems with the livestream.

There’s no certainty that there will be decision from Judge Anthony Kelly today, especially now there is a  technical hitch. It could quite easily be reserved until Tuesday, the day that Tennis Australia boss Craig Tiley needs to finalise the entry list.

Even if Novak Djokovic win his appeal there’s no guarantee he’ll play in the Australian Open.

The immigration minister Karen Andrews still has the right to cancel the visa again – though if that were to  happen it would bring further ridicule on the Australian Federal and State Government’s handling of the fiasco thus far.
