Medvedev not happy with ‘slow’ indoor Paris court

Daniil Medvedev has criticised the court at the Paris Masters after his semi-final win over Alexander Zverev.

“I think the balls have changed compared to last year and I don’t know why, also if you see the matches and the way they are played,” he said.

it’s all very slow for indoor hard-court. We already have the clay which is slow, I don’t understand why these fields are very slow too, I don’t see the reason why they have to change and invent these new things, even changing balls.

“This is the reason why I have often not kept the service and with the second you go into difficulty. Djokovic himself in the last match, we are talking about a great serving, he had serious problems.”
