British qualifier Harriet Dart has pulled off a third victory in Indian Wells, after first beating Konjuh and 15th seed Elina Svitolina, the 25-year-old has now taken out the Australian Open quarterfinalist Kaia Kanepi.
She is the only Brit left in the women’s draw, after Emma Raducanu went out in round three, and Katie Boulter fell in round one.
Dart is in her second ever WTA 1000 main draw, and entered the top 100 players for the first time in her career this March. She currently sits at world number 99.
The Brit next faces Australian Open semifinalist and 25th seed Madison Keys in the fourth round. They have played once before, at the start of this year in Melbourne, with Key taking the victory in two sets.
