Kyrgios to make a return to Stuttgart grass

Nick Kyrgios will tune up for a second straight year on the grass of Germany as the Wimbledon finalist returns to the ATP event in Stuttgart.

The Australian parlayed a pair of back-to-back grass semis last summer in Germany into his surprise Wimbledon showing a few weeks later, losing the final to Novak Djokovic.

But with the 27-year-old Kyrgios now more selective on where he competes, his return to the Weissenhof club is being celebrated by fans in the car-making European city.

Also back is titlewinner Matteo Berrettini, bidding for his third trophy here after defeating Andy Murray in the final last summer and Felix Auger-Aliassime for the 2019 trophy.
