First South American in Next Gen Finals as FAA withdraws

As second seed Felix Auger-Aliassime pulls out of the Next Generation finals, Juan Manuel Cerundolo has become the first south american player in the event’s history to qualify.

As one of 31 title-winners this year, Argentinian Cerundolo was on the alternate list, but has been called up to fill the Canadian’s space.
