Djokovic eases to eighth straight victory

Novak Djokovic reinforced his bid for a title repeat at Roland Garros as the top seed slammed Aljaz Bedene 6-3, 6-3, 6-2 on Friday for a fourth-round place.

The world No. 1 who lifted the Rome title in the Paris run-up, took ust an hour and three-quarters to move ahead.

The Serb sent over 30 winners and had 17 unforced errors during his run to the fourth round here for the 16th time from 18 participations.

Djokovic next plays Diego Schwartzman, whom he has defeated in all six of their previous matches.
