A 4-1 4-3 (7-1) win over Coric saw him through to today’s final.
Russian Andrey Rublev also had a 100 per cent record with wins over Marin Cilic and Danilo Petrovic.
Alexander Zverev went down to Petrovic in his first match, before bouncing back with victory over Cilic.
Grigor Dimitrov withdrew after losing to Coric in the first match of the day.
