Novak Djokovic has no plans to eventually fade away quietly from tennis, with the 21-time Grand Slam winner determined to fight to the end of his career.

The 35-year-old made a fresh commitment during a sponsor’s shoe presentation in Marbella, Spain.

The Serb who was banned from two of the four Grand Slams this season due to his continued refusal to ever get vaxxed for COVID, doubled down on his commitment to go out fighting in his sport.

“I really don’t at the moment see myself playing professional tennis and not being one of the candidates or favorites to win a Grand Slam or one of the top spots in the world,” the No. 5 said.

“I don’t see myself being 25 and playing at a medium-high level. I just want to always play  at the highest level – that’s something I demand from myself and my (coaching) team demands from me.”

Djokovic  is due to start next season at the ATP Adelaide event before returning to Melbourne and the Australian Open after being deported from the country last January for trying to enter without being COVID-jabbed.
